'Southbank Chronicles'

I'm not from Corsham, but am very interested in football records and history.

It's clear that these books have been a labour of love and that a lot of time has been spent researching the records.

All three books are very well presented, easy reading and a great record of the club.

'Southbank Chronicles'

Corsham Town FC photographer, historian and club legend John Cuthbertson presents this three part look back at the history of the Quarrymen, which is just as fantastic as it is utterly comprehensive. From the club’s humble beginnings in the late 1800s, right through to its present day existence in the Western League, Cuthbertson has left no stone unturned in collating newspaper reports, book extracts, personal interviews and more in order to tell the club’s unique story. His love for the club shines through all three books as he provides an in-depth look at the highs and lows of its entire history, both on and off the field, with more than a few surprising details thrown in along the way. A highly recommended read not just for Corsham Town supporters, but for all non-league afficionados - and I’m not just saying that because I’m in it loads!
